History:

While attending college in Ruston, Louisiana, Calvin and Michelle Dial (founders) were trying to find employment to help offset the cost for tuition and books. With all the jobs around campus being so scarce, they had trouble finding employment. One day, Calvin was speaking with his older brother on the telephone, telling him that he was unable to find a job. His brother gave him a great idea, “start cleaning buildings.” Calvin told his brother that he didn’t have the money to start something like that. His brother replied, “you have a vacuum cleaner…right, you have a mop and mop bucket…. right, well you’re all set to do some cleaning.”

Calvin and Michelle were willing to give the cleaning industry a try. They printed flyers and passed them out around campus and throughout the city. After a few weeks, they started to get discouraged because there was no feedback from the flyers. Then one day, while Calvin was attending his Human Disease class, his instructor, Dr. Belue-a Family Physician, asked him to give him a quote for cleaning his clinic in town.

The Belue Family Clinic was the first account for Speedy Janitorial Service, Inc. From there they added weekly house cleaning for professors and make ready apartment cleaning around campus.

Today, Speedy Janitorial Service, Inc. is experiencing a high volume of growth. We currently service over two million square feet a day throughout the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. Our success has been attributed to the way we conduct business with integrity, ethics, and world-class customer service. Our reputation has been built on trust and reliability that has been earned through many years of hard work and consistent behavior.
